Thanks for your reply ChrisW8. I forgot to mention that I'm not on a PC. I'm using a nexus 10 tablet and it doesn't seem to do what you said. It looks like I'll have to find someone who can demonstrate how to get the icon on the desk top. Thank you again anyway Chris. Zuggy.

Double click in the address bar and select copy link url or copy to book msrks . Alternatively, forget it abduction bugger off ... :-[

I'm on android tablet too. chrome browser, I just never close the tab. Its always there straight away when I open the browser, regardless of whether the machines been turned off/rebooted or left on standby all day

Thanks for your reply Jay reKx. That's what I'm doing. Oh well got to get used to this modern technology. Mess about with Land Rovers with spanners, grease and sweat then we try to talk about it using internet, microchips and touch screens.
