Are you boasting or complaining?

70s joke!!
I think I'll say boasting. I still have all my vinyl and its a bit eclectic with everything from Abba to ZZTop and a penchant for novelty tracks e.g. Napoleon XIV -They're Coming To Take Me Away Ha Haa! The B-side is the same as the A-side but in reverse, even the label is printed mirror-image... I can't remember who said it but it was said that it was the only track he knew which could clear an entire pub when put on the jukebox.

Afternoon folks :).

Been a little cooler this last week, even had some rain:). not had to put any big boy trousers on yet though:D.
Last few days we have had the big chickens roosting on the common overnight, so the birds are on thier way to the winter houses down south somewhere. Same with the housemartins and Bee eaters. So those with sun keep topping up your vit D.

Probably going to lay the wooden floor at friends house next week, so hope it stays cool and dry. Have been putting it off but cant any longer as She wants her proper kitchen in which should be ready in a mth. Which means I will also get mugged into repositioning a socket and fitting a gas pipe to the hob:vb-groan2:
I think I will charge Her a steak dinner with loads of beer at that new resturant we went too cos that was really good:). Do you think thats cheap labour:oops:?

Definitely, looking for any work ? 👍👍

As I said, I have been reading back through the old posts on here, and this was mentioned back then. I did point out it is W's tipple in UK pubs and we always have some int 'ouse.
So yes, ideally we'd love to do this, but we'd have to first crush and filter the apples, which is the biggest pain, then do the rest of the biz.
I have in the past in the UK done it, on a very small scale, crushing and filtering by hand, but it really takes a bit of a team, a bit of space and quite a bit of equipment. Also it tends to go orf if not bottled and again it needs bottles that can take pressure, or a barrel or two with CO2 floating on the top. The barrels could not easily be transported to the UK. So it is all a bit of a pain.
I have a mate in the UK that does this, but there are a few of them in the group and they have invested in proper machinery to make it easier.
Wassailing done a bit of that 👍🍏🍏🍏
