One of my neebs got a grant for a full solar & air source heating system, chaps turned up to fit it & they cant as the roof
is rotten :( trouble is her house was gifted to use for life as part of a bigger estate. Which has been sold as the estate owner
passed away the proceeds will go to Strathclyde Uni. She is responsible for the maintenance & there is no way she will put a
new roof on it if she doesnt own it. I wonder what they will do with all the gear thats lying in her garden.
Doubtless you will be round there with a big trailer soon to put her out of her misery, poor thing! ;)

Fanks to advice onner nuvva fred on ere eye has unset me trap and put bait in and around it. Left over stake fat and a bit ov meat. Tis all eye have. Theory is to get kev used to going in said trap. Then later on he'll go in when it's set, but he'll fink its safe assit was safe the last time he went in. Makes me feel happier it wun't hurt me squirrels if they try to gerrin.

A crow keeps pulling my bird feeder off the stand so it can get all the spilt seeds, I'll need to cable tie it on
but then its a bugger to fill. I dont want to bend the stand as it will crack all the coating.
Got a squiggle coming to it, used to get a woodpecker but they are shy any noise an its off.
Simular problem ere. Eye has to cut and replace the tie wrap when eye want to take me burd feeder down, to clean it.

Peeps tend not to wash, polish the roof as much as the bonnet. Eye does both on ma ippo.
Putting polish on a surface then spreading it evenly, maybe letting it dry if it is that sort, then buffing it, cannot harm the surface.
But using polishes that contain cutting compounds to remove oxidisation could eventually cut through the top layer of paint or clear coat.
But basically English weather, hot sun, acid rain, all these things do your paintwork in unless you regularly coat them with a layer of polish.

When "metallic" paints first came out a lot of them "crazed" due to peeps not understanding that stage of the finishing process.

Morning All. :D
A reasonable day here it seems, although a tad "brisk". :)
Soon be Christmas eh? (158 days).
Have a great day! :D
I'm sitting in the shade, the sun isn't even really shining but it is so humid, and I am leaking so much that I have decided to go in and sit with a fan about metre from me.

We need yet another storm or some rain.
