Bin stoopid hot here an all.
Went for the usual monthly big shop and lunch at our fave place.

Before that, as the sales are on, (dates ruled by the gubmint, so much for "Liberté, Fraternité etc")
So W's annual trip to the specialist bra shop. 30% off is not to be sniffed at when each one can cost €100 or more.   How the heck can they justify it??? And W's eldest dottir suffers the same, she gets them from Victoria's Secret and they are hugely expensive as well, small back, big Bristols, cost a packet!

The eatery has has a "relooking" (Don't blame me the frogs pinch and then misuse our words all the time).
So it's name has changed from the "Brasserie Europe" to "Red Line".
They now do flipping Tapas and the normal menu has changed somewhat. More evidence of Mocktails, etc. I guess they paid some blerk to come in and see if he could raise or modernise its profile.
It used to be like a Brit pub with lots of pics and stuff related to early 20th century, or older, British rugby.
Sign of the times. At least they are still the most popular place in the centre of town and we still get a very warm welcome and excellent service. The food is still good and reasonable.

So after that off to a couple of shops. Filling the trolley in Auchan. Met a very nice American couple who have been living here for the past 9 years. Boy are they ashamed of the sTrumpet!! Lovely long chat so we'll be seeing more of them. Nice to make yet more new friends who are younger than us.

Got home, still blazing hot but not quite so bad at 600 metres. After unpacking and putting away W watered while I got on with tasting, adjusting and bottling the Creme de Cassis. Got 6 1/2 bots so pleased with that.
Hope you are all enjoying your evenings.
:):):):)

Spent all afternoon welding the sheer as it had to be all built up & re-shaped,,,run a bead to build it up clean it off
try blades on then run a bead and so on. Was very slow to do but almost done. I dont think the cutter that snapped
will last very long. A full new set is on there way but they will need a passport to come here to live.

Cooler smornin. Nice breeze. Got me windows open to cool down castle ippo. Will chop up me tree cuttings later to feed me bin ready for the clowncil to take it away. Naybor chopped his side up into small bits so we get more in.
If you need to prune on a regular basis would be worth investing in a mulcher then spread it in the garden as mulch and be more green

Got up late then spent ages retrieving old emails from Axa-Schengen on the pooter where the email won't send or receive them any more.
Looked on my phone where they should also be, they weren't all there, bizarrely, seeing as the email address is the same.
Ended up saving them to a folder in me desktop then copying them all and sending them all in an email from my very rarely used Gmail account. Sent to a slightly different address asking them to have a word with the previous correspondent(s) before I contact their CEO and Finance Director.
Wasted a lot of time with PayPal who refuse to get a yuman involved. Except by prior engagement and on payment of a small child. So still no nearer the reimbursement of the £400 odd.

So Gmail works but Mudzilla don't. And still can't open up LZ on that pooter so have to use the new one to do that.
