These are all possibilities although my new gun uses heat to fit metal "stitches" or staples into plastic bits.

This is all very well but peeps like us who have to have our passports stamped to prove we haven't overstayed our long-stay visas., will still have to get it done. . But we have found another (new place) its a bit further away 30-40mins, so we tried it. They still have to finish the landscaping so the seaview doesnt have builders rubbish in the view.

I should also mention that, by law, French garagistes have to be willing to replace non-safety critical parts with secondhand ones. Part of their bid to increase recycling and help the environmint.

Good beef steak is hard to get here so those that serve it usually charge a UK type price, but for about £18 I was well happy, and it was actually cooked to how I asked

With modern lights its difficult to tell. I have a set of LHD headlights for the Beast sitting on the workbench and cant see much difference to whats in the car(RHD) at the moment.

This is exactly what I intend to do. I am thinking of two pack adhesive, or filler with fibreglass in it. I am guessing (from a bit of goggle) you have a clear front on the light, which says to me its all in the reflector and bulb position/rotation.
If its the bit that holds the spring clip that holds the bulb (sounds like)? could you not bond on a bit of "something" to the back to make a new 1 that would hold the bulb?
Of course its always the half a day to get it out to just have a look that these fancy modern cars give us

. They dont seem to keep "meat" cows, some dairy cows are around.

W doesn't really eat steak but I do, and what amazes us is that over here, nearly every steak you get in a restaurant, even quite a cheap cut, is always OK, but buying decent steaks in shops is a nightmare. Even our normal butcher, who is brill for everything else, we once had a steak from him and it wasn't good. So now i buy Tournedos from Leclerc and that is OK.We dont know TBH.
But they dont really seem to make it a staple on the menu. Pigs/Chickens are easier to keep
Lamb is not cheap either for some reason I dont understand as there is a load of sheep around
Which is why we go and pick a lamb for the frezzer
But to get a good bit at an eatery is always expensive here(relative to other meats).
But When I or M want a good steak we know where to go. The Fish resturant in the big town do a mean steak and now the new place

It's the same here also Stan I have given up ordering it unless I have a saw in my pocket all red meat is cooked till it's falling apart or bashed to death,
