The question we are going to ask is that as they have had her in their care for 6 days how come it is only AFTER the procedure that they start trying to determine what precise AB will knock the infection out. Surely as they have been changing the dressings (so they say) there was ample opportunity to have this lab-work done in advance and the infection already under control?Pleased for you all.
Such a massive shame that it took so long and very seriously hoping that she is leaving the bandages etc alone.
Crossed fingers and toes for you all.

I do agree, I got bit in Borneo by some sort of insect on return to the UK the doctor took a biopsy sent it to London 2days later I was prescribed the correct AB , thay said the culture grew bugs over night, so thay could have done it and possibly prevented an operation?

Just been tring to explain to the builders what order to do things in as they seem to want to start plastering the walls before I have run cables and before they have finished putting plasterboard on the ceilings

So I'll be able to finish off yet again repairing the hen-house.
Got up late due to a bad night "I must not eat cheese and drink wine" (repeat 100 times).
Found a footnote, more or less by accident, that mentions the escape line from Brussels to Paris during the war. It actually mentions the villages my ex's family live in. Right on the border. Her grandfather was heavily involved as, being a customs man, he knew all the secret tracks smugglers could use to cross the border. Part of her family used to house the downed airmen before passing them along the line.
The foot note shows how near they came to all being uncovered and "blown" as were Prosper, Vic and sadly many others.
The book contains the weekly reports on all espionage, SOE etc given to Churchill. Only recently released. (He wasn't allowed to hold onto them!).
I have yet to find further details on this line but now it gives me hope it may be possible. A good moment.

Emailed the council asking when new door is arriving and telling them not to send the same workman for a third attempt
Girlfriends for tea again, nice ham salad
Neighbour found a Magpie fledgling on the grass and decided to take it to the R.S.P.C.A. (she's Polish) I mentioned that it's mum would probably be looking for it and taking it away was a bad idea
Enjoy the sunshine

I can't believe in the 21st century, we still allowing children like Bintoooooooooooooooooooau to suffer from the hands of tribal Southern Martians. To watch daily on Vague You fool channels, fellow Northern Martians become the property for the Liberal Democratic party fighters. Many are married off much elderly fossils, to regenerate their population or used as Saxophone and Clarinet slaves.
I will not let this happen to my Bintoooooooooooooooooooau.
Already I've campaign around my circle of friends in the House of Lords, and they agree to help my sponsorship.
