Would you believe it ??
Trying to set tappets on my little landy Kohlar engine only to find that they are hydraulic lifters
I'll have to flush the engine and put fresh oil in to see if that solves the noisey tappet problem, it's been stood quite a while so maybe it'll get better with running.
Have you tried soaking them in a tub of oil for a while.

They'll free up with an engine run I think, only ran it for 30 secs or less.

Oh Brian, that's a tough one. So sorry to hear this. I remember how I felt when my Dad died (he was only 56 and I was 31. It really laid me low). Chin up mate.

...that something really strange happened to me today.
I was out on my trike and I could hear a really raucous group gathering but could not see the source of it.
Anyway, about 5 minutes later I had to retrace my steps and was diverted onto a muddy track back past where I had heard all the jollity and good-times. Out of nowhere comes an elderly couple (I'd say late 70's or early 80's) and the lady stops and say to me "Cor' you look handsome I'm going to give you a kiss".
"Do I know you?" I replied.
"No" she said but if you won't kiss me I will be very upset and I will cry.
"Ok", I said, "I don't want to see you cry my darling".
I pushed my glasses up off my face and turned my face up towards her.
She bent down and whispered... "I'm not really going to kiss you, but I don't want them to know that." and she gave me a hug and a peck on the top of my head (Like I do with my grand kids). I laughed my head off as I rode away....
"You've got a really dirty laugh" she called out.
"Yeah, my wife says I am Syd James reincarnated" I shouted back as I rode on.
Funny old world isn't it?

I hates it when I mislays stuff, tickly knives.. I has been usin one of me nice pocket knives so far at wuk bureye broke the clip an I fort the better of it since the new clip came all the way from Chyna at no small expense. Got one a these instead, is good..

We launched an elderly couples yacht yesterday...a 100 year old wooden all lovely n varnished thingy.
Anhoo they had a 2 other elderly couples with them...sitting out having lunch all joking/laughing loving life having a ball.
Im sure they were swingers, very touchy feely rubbing my arms ect
Nice to see peeps enjoying themselves.

So the two stroke has a spark.
so I ordered a noo carb.
Prices are mad ranging from not too much to half the price of a noo brushcutter.
So I ordered one.

When I were a young un I had a few of those, don't seem to see them around any more. I'd like one as never kept one, or bust em all, can't remember.Now then im wondering where my bosuns knife is with the spike on it.
