Almost cut my bonnet up today but got rained off, might just be enough ally for small bonnet and roof

Spent nearly 3 hours holding doggies while they were cut.
The old one (14) is about as scraggy as Wilfred Bramble but fights like a nutter when you get anywhere near her head or paws with clippers or scissors.
Covered in dog hair which has pierced my shirt and itches like mad.
Will eventually be assed to go and change.
Still they look nice, not that they looked nasty before!

W has finally been playing with her Husqvarna sewing machines, they run beautifully smoothly!
She's very happy with them!

...that the "Window Installation" in the dining room is complete.
I cut the picture rail mitres yesterday afternoon because I think builders can be a bit ham-fisted with fancy stuff.
They said "thanks, we were not looking forward to cutting them".
All floor protection removed now, and we are just waiting for the window for over the front door to be made and installed.

I have a reasonable redecorating job on my hands here though.

How's the outside looking? Have they done an nice lintel or arch? I hope it's not just a bit of exposed I section.

It is a very nice "canopy" in render with a drip bead. It matches all the other existing casement windows in that part of the house.

I remember an auld lady calling us guttersnipes when we were wee lads, we used to hang about near her house where
there was a electricity supply, boxed in with 6ft bricked walls & a nice wee tarmac area n metal railings we use to call them
The monkey bars haha We were aged between 8-10 she use to soak us with a hose n shout all sorts of abuse at us.
