Got roped in to do some work in the yard today, but got some insulation off the ship & some plaster board from the
builders merchant, insulation fitted & all boarded up under my worktops. Got the kitchen larder unit to remove & fit
a hot water booster pump for the kitchen sink. New kitchen will be ordered tomorrow. Might get a new range cooker
induction type & get rid of the lpg gas not sure if they burn lots of leccy but I have 3 years supply of gas. (dont ask lol)

Induction cooker hobs need a large mains cable to run them at least 6mm, 10mm to be on the safe side that will have to be wired back to the board, if you have three years of gas stay with that, free is good :vb-biggrin:

Morning All. :D
Damp and miserable here (or is that just me). ;)
@kevstar my son has had two induction hobs (so far) yes the wiring to them is 40A standalone spur, yes they break down unless you have paid for the >£750 units.
Have a great day folks. :D

What went wrong with them, I will be replacing the gas rangemaster with the leccy induction range 750 sovs errrr nope its this........

Its got heavy cable wired in atm deffo not 10mm this could be a problem as the floors are all ceramic tiles, a cable over the roof
would work 🤣 🤣

Ahhh sorry I thought you said you were going for induction?
What you have shown is not an induction hob (AFAIK).On my son's first 5-ring induction hob from "Cookology"(avoid) 3 out of 5 induction units just went "Phutt!". The second (more expensive hob unit) has lasted ok so far.

The local gas delivery lad is a right bad driver the gas keeps falling off his lorry 🤣🤣🤣
We've got an air fryer but when it comes to making big steak pies ect air fryers dont cut it, plus
we always have social gatherings at ours throughout the summer & loads of scran is always on.

I may have got it wrong an said hob ?? meant a range with induction leccy type that heats stuff without a naked flame. :)
