But won't that stop the mirror glass moving properly when you try to manoeuvre it? Although admittedly you are less likely to need to do it than on the nearside.
On second thoughts, perhaps you mean just on the mirror, in which case, yep good idea!

Even our local Motabitz has them, I've had to change the Disco's nearside one several times. Only really tricky bit was getting the anti-vibration tongue thing to stay in place, Best of luck.

This is exactly why we wanted to get one, due to the masses of brambles we get and yep why we knew we'd have to tether them with chain and stakes. didn't know about the tangling up bit, but can imagine them doing it.
Visited a goat farm once in Normandy they were all indoors as it was February, they are friendly right enough but the billies frightened the females in the party as they crashed into the wooden walls of their boxes! We even have a neighbour who would show us how to milk them.

Well Frog peeps, some of them , eat horsemeat although the horsehuggers are trying to and may even have succeeded in getting it banned. Un wanted horse meat from New Forest ponies used to go over there I believe.
So can you eat donkey meat? I expect you COULD as you can CAN eat most hanimals.
But would it taste nice and would you want to?
Apparently it's popular elsewhere in the world.

Dunno if yours is like the Disco one, but ours has a round rather flimsy plastic ring that you are supposed to put on the back then attach that and the glass to the mech in the mirror holder thing, at the same time inserting the tongue thing. But I found it easier to put the ring in first then pop the glass onto it.
Just saying like. I needed to buy a couple of rings as they get very friable with age.

... that I have tried the RPM meter again but with no success.
I have tried it with the supplied magnet, a bigger stronger magnet, a dedicated 12v DC supply, a 9v DC supply and I have checked the AC ripple on these supplies (<1millivolt). The results are the same, varying inaccurate numbers, sometimes the right number, but mostly the wrong ones and often just 4 dashes on the display. The magnets are oriented right (they cause a flash on the LED tell-tale on the sensor). I have no idea why it cannot produce a steady and correct display.
