3 Attempts to expand the job with tales of "issues".
Very little progress on the job so far.
Feeling very vulnerable and unhappy about it.

Thats not good. Two choices now. Either pay them for a days work and get rid. Or stick to thats all that needs doing and hope it stays on after they leave.

Did you not take active references and complete full financial due diligence on them/the company before contract engagement? If not, eeek!
Golden life rule. Do not let anyone into your home/onto your property to complete any form of works unless the above is checked. And they must have suitable liability insurance that you must satisfy is active and fit for purpose. If not, don't employ them.

I got a call from the JLR main dealer this morning, to cancel the recall appointment on me fender axle. They ain't had the parts deliveredGuid afternoon
Got a call from Jaguar Landrover to cancel tomorrow's safety recall as they have not yet received the parts ! Really would have thought a large efficient organisation such as them would be able to source parts fairly quickly FFS
Perhaps I should offer to buy the parts and free issue to them to install.
Today, been gym, otherwise a lazy day oh yes it's raining
. They will contact me when they have the parts. Not holding my breath, the wheel hubs falling off has only been known about for 12 years. So much for the "Urgent Action Required" printed on the front of the recall letter envelope, in big red print.

Pleased to announce the chaps have worked like anything and got the garden dug out, membrane in and 3 tonne of stone whacked down. The Indian paving has been delivered and looks like it will be sweet once down. There will be 3 more tonnes of stone tomorrow, and new fence panels put in where the old shed was. They hope to be done on Friday but will work the weekend if necessary

Indeed yes, they are a crew from Newark. The company belonged the lads dad but he has retired so his son is carrying things on.

Left here went to the hoppital, then to Charring cross, out to Milton of Campsie, back down to Clydebank over the Erskine
bridge to Greenock....then to Irvine & back home
move oot the way im coming though lol
