Reminds me of the time I accidentally took my old passport with me when going to catch the Portsmouth ferry, got about 45 mins into the journey afore W checked for some bizarre reason.
Turned round, rushed back, picked tother'un up and raced to the port at speeds of up to 127 mph, only to get there on time AND find the ferry was leaving 1 hour late! Lucky not to get dun fur speading!

Still wondering how they can have wrongly diagnosed such a thing!

Speeds of up to 127. Thas like saying eye goes to wuk at speeds upto 500.

Dual carriageway then motorway between Ferndown and Portsmuff. Car wouldn't go any faster than 127 mph. As W used the route most days to go to work she knew where the plods hung out so it was relatively easy to keep an eye out for them.
But at speeds like that bends suddenly appear where you normally wouldn't see them! (On a motorway) ;)

(Don't get your comment re speeds up to 500. )
 
Need to start complaining to autoglass.
Replaced the screen, since then the rain sensor be buggered. They came out.. buggered some more n said i has to go to the centre. Goes to centre.. they make it work so i goes on my way.. soon after it stops working so they call me back to the centre. Go back n they do buggerall, at least nothing they couldn't have done over the phone.. so i have to go back AGAIN at some point🤯🤬😩

'Course I is aware, they do the same over 'ere. ;)
We try to live by solar time so we can work when it's cool and stop when it's hot. But most peeps still stop and eat at their lunch at 12h00 which is roughly 10h30 by the sun, which is bonkers!! I use the pillars on the south facing side of the house, when they cast a straight shadow, it's 12 midday as far as we are concerned!

Maybe you should go in with a hammer and a lary look at all the glass they keep on their shelves!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek:

I fink it is dead cool that we invented GMT. Just wish we lived on the meridian instead of a coupla degrees plus off it. 2.3766 E to be precise.
Le Mans is nearly that, but most of France is East of it.

They reckon the sensor might have been split/damaged when it was taken off but icall bollox.. i think the screen is too thin..
They wet the gel pad when they nobbed about and made it work.. i reckon it stopped working when it dried oot
 
Oh ruddy hell..... I opened the brisket to salt it and it slid off into 2 separate parts.
Not one nicely shaped bit of Brisket, but 2 distinct "flaps".
Not a lot I can do really. I can't cancel the event I will have to suffer the shame and ignominy of being the host with the crap roast. :(

NVM they are all getting it for free, so they can complain all they like. :D
I have emptied the freezer of all of my rib-eyes and decent sirloins so they can have that as their main meat dish.
IF the brisket smokes up OK it's a bonus I guess. C'est-La-Vie!

Could you not have made it into some sort of a brisket roll, and roasted that, maybe wiv a stuffing?
