Have yer gottid EU break down cover or did yer have to call a local to shift it?
This is a very good question.
As we spend up to 6 months in the EU we have to go with SAGA or pay through the nose, very few insurers want to do over the 90 days.
SAGA have done for ages as so many old crumblies like to bumble around over there in their motorhomes for ages.
(They chock up the roads to an extent where we are, not just Brits, from all over the continong!!)
So when we insured with them we took their break down cover, but it only covered us for 90 days.
So I made the point to them that it was stoopid to have the insurance for as long as you want abroad in a year but not the breakdown cover.
Since then they have changed it and the breakdown cover is for as long as the insurance. RAC.
Worth having.;)

Back door of me garage has been rotting away for some time and is beyond recovery, so I've been on the lookout for a replacement - which I found on the bay last night. New, still in shrink wrap hardwood external door - got it for 41 sovs and went to collect it today. My route was a bit back lanes on what must be the worst roads in lincolnshirshire, surfaces hammered to deep ruts by heavy farm machinery. But no problem for a tratter . So I've got a noo door to play with and had a jolly ride out in me bogey :).

Did you just drive by my place and not call in for a cuppa?

Afternoon folks:).

Been in the garage today working on a P38. It never ceases to amaze me what some clowns do:eek:.
Back at it tomorrow but will be using power tools I shouldn't have too:rolleyes:.

But it's still been a good day in the garage, smelling of oily garage now:), wonderful fragrance, wonder why nobody has bottled it yet to sell and make a fortune;).
