Had a good day today. About 10 or more years ago I bought the remains of a triumph bonneville, not much more than the frame and crankcases. Over the next few years I collected a fair pile of new and second hand stuff for it but then I moved house and it has been left scattered about in 2 garages gathering dust. I have tidied me garages out and re-discovered it all. With help from an owners club, I have been given the original registration number and have checked the DVLA site. I can get it reg'd in my name for £25. It was last taxed in 1982!!. Happy days ahead .

Apologies, I'll find somewhere around Tamworth to do it as that's local'ish and just down the road from Kingsbury fuel terminal.

Had a Freelander 2 3.2 in today in a nice light blue colour.
did the rear handbrake shoes "A RIGHT BALLACHE" i should add.

And did a few preliminary checks, found the compression low on cylinder 3 and 5.
In a ditch effort i've thrown in some "restore" engine treatment, which i have had good luck with..

I have to say the FL2 is a nice car, Volvo SI6 engine not withstanding

Morning All
Another dry-ish cold day here.
I got some of my wall painted.
Discovered my neighbour has kindly piled their trash against my wall and breached my damp-course.
Their "lean-to" they put up that touches my wall has discharged all its water down my wall and blown the render and rotted my high-level window in my utility room.
I cleared most of their crap off my land and placed it back on theirs today. Cleaned my wall down and have painted 1/2 and will paint the rest asap. The render I will have to stabilise & patch.
Great Neighbours!!! The daughter who is now living with her mother there is mortified at the damage caused saying..."I didn't realise".
But first breakfast and then Gym.
