What motor did you have?Too far north for me.
Plus we got banned from the ROC in my motor
We would use the trees to get round tight corners & they did not like it.
My Hicap. Back body sticks out just a fraction so you can hook a tree. That’s why I don’t have door handles either.
Club i was in wasn't serious, just out to have fun between ourselves.
. Head liner felt like it had a gallon of water trapped behind it. . Thought the rear screen washer pipe might have come adrift and dumped some water in there. Armed with a large bucket I took the light out and was met with a torrent of two drips of water , it was just a bit of condensation. SO put the light fitting back in which was a bit of a fiddle and managed to short it out and something went pop. . The handbook author didn't bother to identify the fuse for it, but a study of the wiring diagrams etc traced it and the book said its behind the instrument panel . But it wasn't, it was in the normal fuse panel, and I noticed the clock had stopped. Sure enough that was the fuse which had blown and it was swapped out in no time and all working again . Made a note in the handbook for future mishaps.
