Amazingly, here it is impossible to go out at night without a powerful torch - even into the garden for the dog's late evening piddle! With no reference points it is strangely impossible to know where you are or where you are going!
But the dogs do not seem to have the same problem.

You could wait a while for your eyes to get used to the darkness, you'd be surprised ....

No. on a really dark night it is impossible although when there is some starlight, it does get better and better.

I has problems with slip too. I always feel tyid, an no amount of slip seems to do it.
I gets ot an then cold, I ache, I has circular dreams that **** me off. I worry about things that are ridikulus.
When awake I is calm, happy go lucky, take it as it comes, etc.
My sleep self int a nappi bunny..

Yes, we have no light pollution at all.
Only real dark skies I know are in the New Forest, is summink else
Has you gots a tellyscope then?
I used one to look atta moon in Brittany some years ago. Was a manual jobby, the old girl goes at a fair clip up close..
