OK, so is it the sweat band?
Good lord, some of you folks are knowledgeabububble!Rose chafer (cetonia auratu )
You need to fly a helicopter in the Falklands. After that you don't sweat EVER, allegedly.OK, so is it the sweat band?
Huh, I've tried every sweat band under the sun, literally, and none of them work for more than 5 minutes. I wear bandanas, folded into a triangle, as they then absorb the sweat from the baldest part of my head, they last a while but I have to change them regularly..
But thanks for the thought!![]()

Thanks for that.Chafer Grub Control Archives - Green Gardener
Chafer Grubs can devastate a lawn and attract birds and animals to dig up and pull at the lawn to get at the grubs. Handle these pests organically with products from Green Gardener today!www.greengardener.co.uk
Applied in two consecutive years. They live in the ground for about 18 months if they don't find anything to parasite on. I suspect the chafer grubs can live in the ground for up to three years before they emerge as beetles, then the problem increases dramatically as they breed. Last year I applied the leather jacket variety as a lot of daddy longlegs were settling in the grass, coming from a neighbouring field which has not been farmed since Covid and is now overgrown with weeds. In my case a large flock of young starlings came to feed on the beetles just as they were emerging, I think that helped massively.
