Time to check the fluids as its stopped dripping 😯 I just hate taking the under engine sound guard off, just a pain takes longer than doing the job 😠
Can't you just leave the blasted thing off? Or does it have to be there to pass some gubmint test? My Disco hasn't seen an under engine guard thing in all the time I have know it. Hard tio believe it ever had one!

Morning All. :D
A really lovely day here in Benfleet. :)
I have convinced W to only visit her Mother in Hospital every other day and leave the other days for her brother to visit his Mum.:)
Starting a fast today (let's see how long that lasts LOL). :)
Have a splendid day! :D
Joining you on that fast boss 😬

Here is a salutory warning about PayPal.
W paid for our health insurance back in April or so. for a policy costing £389 odd. This covers both of us for dire emergency treatment over here for 5 months odd.
She paid through PayPal.

She then noticed that Axa had taken this payment twice. PayPal paid up without question.
W told PayPal about the mistake and got them to get a refund.
They did.

Of £0.90.

Then they promptly closed the case and refused to do anything further about it.:eek::eek::eek:

Cunning dodge eh? :mad::mad::mad::mad:

So she got onto Axa to make a complaint and all they kept doing was trying to fob her off pretending that they thought she wanted to cancel the policy etc etc.

So she got so flipped off with it all she left it in my lap, (yet again.)

So I asked in an email to their normal customer services dept to say who was covered in the policy and how much it was.
After yet another email they did eventually admit that the sum involved was for the whole policy for the two people.

Today I sent them the relevant page from W's credit card statement showing all 3 transactions.
We await further developments.

Not helped by the fact that Axa are based in Brussels.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Turns out that Axa may only have had one payment and that PP took two. According to a forum on their website, this happens quite a bit.
This would explain Axa's responses to W's demands for a refund!
I feel a bit like a barrister who has not been well briefed by his solicitor.
W not maybe doing quite all the doo-diligence!
She did say that there was no money on her PP account. This needs further looking into.
Meanwhile I have asked Axa to tell me how many payments they have had.
What a flipping farce!
