Forcast is rain today so decided to go for supplys and watch the W read all the label's, shopping for 2hr love it ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜  not
We have to do that to ensure there is no gluten or fish in anything. But usually it is obvious as they put them in bold.
So what is your W looking for?
(TBH we mostly buy fresh produce so not much tinned, packet or frozen stuff to look through.)

An article recording the top fifty greatest ever British built cars. Land rovers featured well. Weighing in at number 32 - the Freelander. At number 10, the Disco. Range Rover at number 4. And at number 3, all time best British built cars, The Defender  . You can't argue with the experts. Second place went to the E-Type. And in first place - the Dan Mobile, otherwise known as the Mini.

So all those Jap cars were British built???
Velly, velly intelesting, but stoopid!! (OK, "built in Britain" )

Cannot believe the Metro is in there.

Nissan have a car plant in Sunderland.
I never said they didn't and Honda have one in Swindern. Just don't feel they are in keeping with the idea of "British built."
I feel that implies designed and built by Brits, in Britain.
Hence my remark. Which I have been back and edited just cos I knew someone would think I was that daft!!

In that case, why aren't the modern BMW Minis on the list?
Or did they just not make the cut? ;););)

Pretty ok thanks, just got the โ€œall clearโ€(for the time being). After effects of chemo still very evident Mais, cโ€™est la vie.
Sympathise mate, chemo being no fun at all. Still better that than the alternative. We'll be staying down Bidefred way for the week before Xmas week then that week with a couple in Cornwall whose husband has had 40 courses of chemo. He's old but tough as old boots. My bruv has had a lot of chemo. My mrs' s bod wouldn't take it so she had to go with radio therapy and crossed fingas. Happily she is still with us. So deep sympathy mate, and crossed fingers for a full recovery!

My dream second car, to sit beside me beloved Tratter, comes in at 7. The gorgeous Elise.
Making do with the MX5, until Ernie gets his act together..

Evenin
Joiner called today to look at fixing my creaking hinges and sawn off door.
He had a look and decided that the door was ruined, he said he should be back as early as next week with another new door :(
