Use the free outlook fing or install ms office. The version wiv outlook.
Maybe I should have made it clear.
I need to keep my email adress the same. At the moment I can't on the noo laptop, though I can on two phones and two other laptops.
I have yet to install the MS Office stuff, but how would that help? Not that I expect to be able to understand the answer! 🤣 🤣
I don't want outlook, I don't think? No need I can see for it.

Worris yer trying to do? Eye assume use a program to view and send email, live online. Also store it oft line?

Outlook can do all of that. If yer gottid stored emails in yer old software, its possible to export thems to a file. Dunt use it so dunt know iffit has the option. Then import said file to outlook to transfer yer stored emails.

Wherever it is stored isn't the issue, the issue is that I don't want to have to change my email address for all sorts of peeps, banks credit cards etc, never mind other peeps who use it.
The other machines let me download it then log on with my details password etc, but this flipping Samsung gets to the point of opening it all up after I have logged on, or tried to, and tells me there is a problem with my password or summat which I know isn't right cos I have checked with the other machines.
I have checked the input and output ports etc. They all conform, but it just sits there in a never ending loop with nothing happening, if I try to get it working manually, which is one of the options it gives me.
Flipping annoying.
I thought getting a new machine would enable me to do all the stuff I do on this reickety machine, but it just ain't working out that way.
When I get back to the UK I'll take to a blokey who is good with all this and pay him to sort it out, if he can.
Grr!

I did have Outlook before but it flipped up and some btinternet wimmins took my pooter over and set me up with Mozilla. Which works brilliantly, (this was years ago. ) until now, only on this new machine. Which is how I was able to keep my btinternet.com address.

So which sort was it then?
I know all the rest, just wondered if the concerned derrick managed to not see the black and white stripes, or the dropped kerb and bumps you felt.
It was dropped kerb & bumps, it has been there for 4 years, but everyone just bombs round the corner without looking properly.
The prick in the Prius was stationary and waited till an oncoming car on his road had passed him and then just went without checking.

as an EV hybrid driver maybe he felt God was on his side and he didn't need to look!! 🤣 🤣 🤣

MT is just an email program to give easy access to yer email. When yer put in the pop or live command, or wot ever, to setup the strings to read and send enails to the web server, is there a test button? If so does it test ok.

Have yer tried seaching for the last part of yer email, win version, mt, email pop commands int google. Like

Win 10 mt @hotmail.com pop server commands

Or search using the command yer entering to see if the web suggests an akternative. Like

Smtp.pop... mt commant

Soz, but you remind me of a Dr of Physics trying to teach a class of eleven year olds about basic electricity.
I lost you at "When yer put in the pop or live command, or wot ever, to setup the strings to read and send enails to the web server, is there a test button?"

You are SO over my head with all this. But I can say that, no, I didn't see a "test" button.
As I said, I have given up on it. I'll pay someone to set it up for me when I get back to blighty.
I'd have to use the other laptop to do screenshots of what it puts up when I try to log on. But that would compromise my personal details on here unless I faff around with it on iPhoto plus or summit.

I may do that cos I know you know your stuff and if you were sat next to me you'd prolly sort it out for me.
I do appreciate your trying to help me. Seriously, I do. :)
