Busy day at work, 75t boat hoist blew a tyre so me as being a ex tyre chap got the job to replace it ooooft bloody thing
as been in/out salt water for 20 years so it put up a real fight. All done done then went to pick up a big floating caravan
the chaps wife fell off the boat probably 10ft as the telescopic ladder collapsed :eek: she fell just feet from me omg landed
on her side & on 2 x 4" posts (shores to prop the boat up) right on her ribs couldnt breath all I could do was get her comfy
put my jacket over her & prop her head up recovery position was easy as she was already on her side. I told my work mate
to call an ambulance & he seamed to disappear :mad: I got the yard owner on the 2 way rad to call whilst I dealt with her.
Ambulance was 1/2 hour then over an hour before they left. Husband thanked me for all my help & said we were very
professional. Wait till I see the chap who buggered off maybe he got a freight. ??

Well done that man, was she in shock!

Afternoon
Lovely day again
Just had a tooth out, only went for pain in me gums, 27 quid and she disposed of the tooth, not too bad though :p
Three sets of cheap shelving just arrived from Temu, hoping they're decent quality 🤔
Enjoy the day all :)

Those words do not all belong in the same sentence
Agreed
I'm putting it together as we speak, 6 foot tall and five shelves for 14 quid
Good enough for what I need in the shed, wouldn't put an engine on it but welder not a problem.
Shelves are a bit thin and wouldn't stand too long being damp before they warped but can be substituted
Handy for storing stuff, .......flimsey ? well I'd rather say not as robust as shelves three time the price but they are steel

This afternoon and until tomorrow I am mostly responsible for looking after me. 'Er indoors has gone to look after the grand sprogs overnight. Tea tonight was baked spuds (microwaved) slathered in butter and topped with home made chicken curry. Washed down with bucks fizz served in a Boddingtons pint glass. And a mint chock ice on a stick to follow. Now settled in front of the telly box with the rest of the bucks fizz.
