Morning all, woke up feeling good and wanted to make the most of the early quiet morning.

Done some weeding and sorting out some plants

Sun is out

The meadow is starting to get some colour

Fink he does tratter repair anorl

A bright start to the day.

High pressure gloom today. boring.
At least it isn't raining........ yet.
Can't make my mind up whether to risk the dosh on the hoist. And no, I wouldn't be thinking of riding in it myself. I'd still go up the ladder.
My mate who has risked the €60 on it hasn't yet told me when it will be delivered, allegedly. Maybe he doesn't know.
I expect I'll have to finalise the purchase and payment to find out too.
Hmm!

Just ordered the hoist.
As has my mate.
We'll both see what we will see!
Off out to do fencing I fink.

Already this morning Ive had a call from the wife's dottir that the retractable washing line installed by her uncle on Satdi has slipped / stretched overnight and her laundry is on the floor.

I has some steel core line in the garridge somewhere but will need to get a turnbuckle an summa them wire cable clamp fings fust.

When it stops rainin..

Sitting up in bed, day 2 back at home, weak as a kitten and wishing I could sit in the garden. Mrs DG will be back in a bit having taken dogs to boarding kennels so will be a bit more adventurous then. Got to stretch myself far enough to improve.
It’s good and dry here, lawn is cut and my brother’s coming down for a few days. It’s good to have family.

Sounds like the ratchet/line-lock in it has slipped/failed.

Oh on hollibobs are you? Have fun!
Over ere it has got drizzly so we've come in.
Managed to unload all the tiles and helped W in the gardening a bit.
My new carb for the Ryobi strimmer arrived today, much earlier than expected. Sadly with no "pacman" type screwdriver to make adjusting the jets easier.
But "whoopee" do I may be able to get it going and use it to cut tree branches off as well with its various attachments.
