A bit nippy this morn ...

Eye is up early to drum wash me washing machine on economy 7. Tipped me chemical in both powder draws and the confort one. Powder ones flushed wiv water. Strangely it allowed me to open said draw when it were turnning the drum. Comfort one still as chemical so eye stopped it and opened the door and took out the draw and tipped it in. Then put back. Continued it. Later on it emptied the comfort draw itself. Dun't arf foam up. Tis arf way up the door wiv foam. Its counting down from 68 minutes. Me washing machines loving it. Ses it tickles.

That did also cross my mind, but then I thought that was polystyrene, as it floats very well and doesn't absorb watter.

Over 'ere it's when one of the two days the shops is shut, then again most of them is shut on Mundi too.
May coming up, never a full week and lots of "pongs" around too. (bilingual pun there!).

Got great gran daughter staying due to unforeseen circumstances so wont get owt done
Pulled over by the local fuzz yesterday but all they wanted was to have a look at the truck, couple of petrol head coppers
Washing her school uniform at the moment, that's goin to look strange on a pensioners clothes line

Oh dear that don't sound good.

Had a Scots girlfriend once, when I lived in Poole. (I think she came from the East coast, but not sure.)
Anyway she had a brother in the army back a longish ways now, 70s mebbe. He finished a tour in NI and was coming back with his regiment on an aircraft carrier(?). They were told not to go walking around on certain decks. Well a few did, he was one of them, and he was lost overboard. So no body, nuffin. Really sad.

So hope he has just gone AWOL wiv sum burd and eventually turns up.
