Speaking for myself I do remember that when sewing up a tonneau cover on a really old hand turned Singer I had to alter the tensions amazingly radically to get the stitches so that they were neither on the top nor on the bottom. I cannot talk at all about making ordinary garments as all I ever do with them is make soft tops, tonneau covers and things like seat covers and gaiters.

🤣🤣 I've just never used a machine with front loading bobbin that I haven't sworn at. Both have plus points but fml they can be a pain.

it & they had 26K in it, I told him to pull it all out but his mate said to leave it another week & they lost the lot. :eek:
I went to the hole in the wall last night & took out £2160 from Revolut. 250 each time & they charged me 5 sovs per transaction.
Not bothered as ive got the cash haha :cool::cool:
