...today in the Victor Meldrew "I don't believe it" category we have.....

Wifey digs a hole in our back garden to replant a shrub/bush that is coming out next week when the neebs put some fencing in at the front garden boundary.
Just now she goes down to the back of the garden to survey her handiwork and the old fella over the back has filled it back in.
Now right now he is engaged in building the maginot line between two concrete fence-posts and has invaded our garden to prop-up his shuttering.

1. It aint his garden.
2. He's got old-timers.

So I texted his daughter to ask her to gently remind him to keep out and not put himself or us in any peril.

Been here before last time it was the old dear next door who walked through a hedge and invaded our house through the open back door and I found her in my hallway. 😂
Bl--- hell Dan sounds like you've got trench warfare going on put some barbed wire round your boundary 🔫🔫🔫🔫

Have a look on lrworkshop.com - sign up as member and you will get about a dozen prices from all of the well known parts dealers. Use it a lot myself. Search for parts using the diagrams. Think the part you are looking for is YU000180LNF. Took me about 15 seconds to find it.

After 3 days climbing up and down a ladder for hours on end I am pooped and my ankles ache. But the fascia at the front of Wimblowdriver Towers is looking much tidier . Home made curry scoffed and now got me feet up, telly on, with occasional short sprints to and from the beer shelf in the fridge.

..I got a lovely text from the daughter of the old fella at the bottom of the garden's thanking me for keeping her updated and saying she will try and rein him in a bit. I replied that we know he is a lovely old gent and is not "quite right" at the moment and we are all in this together to try and make sure he comes to no harm, nor that he does any harm to us either.
