Well I did eventually go in the kitchen and clean the Range cooker and hood etc.
Two flipping hours!
Din't do my back much good neeva!

I aint lost it yet, I thought I was getting weaker too well until we were starting a hand crank fire pump yesterday
& the lads couldnt turn it over when the decompressor lever was thrown over.

Afternoon folks .

Well fixed the chlorinator, not as I first thought but hey its sealed and not leaking when running.


So I thought I could cut a 115mm soil pipe seal and superglue it, hitch the superglue has superglued itself to the inside of the tube and isn't coming out to play. Ok out with the contact glue, Right now lets try it, Fail water all over the pump room and me. Its too thick. So looked at the spare chlorinator and used the seal of that its a flat rubber seal but it works Sorted.

Think I have most bits for the summer garage project, just need some engine and gearbox mounts then I think that's enough to do it to it.
Oh its a little bit of trickery that means a Gems ECU will run standalone with out the BECM No more "engine disabled" EVER.

You know "measure twice, cut once"?
Pain in the rear.
I have to measure the internal dimensions of the pool to order one of those bubble blanket things to try and get the water to heat up better. Obvs the edging slabs hang over the edges of it, i.e. where the water touches the sides. So I am trying to measure it single handedly. Right sod doing the length.
I'll work it out but meanwhile I've done all of it once then the two ends again.
I started entering all the figures on a website and discovered that 2 years ago I'd entered a plan for an exterior cover and the measurements don't add up to what I am entering now. i.e. the interior mesaurement seems to be longer than the exterior measurement. I'm hoping I got it wrong two years ago, I never did order it.
I'll do it after lunch.

It comes on rolls 2m + a little bit wide so order close enough over as you will have to trim for any stairs they run it through the hot iron to stick it together. Don't forget to get the rolley up pole and straps for it. Ours is at 26 now checked it today and gave the shark a run so probably have a dip tomorrow .
