Eye has gone back and edited me post. Yer can't give meal wurms to hedgehogs. It gives em a poorly stomach and ill health.

Last nite when i gottid back to castle hippo there be sonefink moving slowly at the end of me grass int distance. Whet to have a look and it be a hedgehog. Eye gottid pic's. Will put em up at the weekend. Put some [removed] by it then a flower sourcer of water. Eye stepped back un turned me fone light oft. Hurd it moving about. Had anuvva look and it had gone 2 foot across me soil where eye recently dug up the weeds. After that eye fink it went frew the gap int fence in the corner 4 foot away. Could hear somefing in me naybors garden russeling but not see it when eye looked. Fink eye scared it. First hedgehog eye has seen in me garden. Me uvva naybor ses he goes through my garden to visit his. Eye will make me garden more hedgehog friendly.
Edit: don't give meal wurms to hedgehogs. Not good for their stomachs and can cause ill health

Must admit I wouldn't.
He'll prolly grow out of it. Especially if you divert his attention when doing it.
Slabbing it seems a bit dramatic, costly and painful on the back!

Ouch, must have hurt.!No, oop north in October skool kids got to go spud picking to get the harvest in. For a pound a day. I lost one of me ten bob notes on the way home
Fust job I had, working in a marmalade/jam factory, less than £10 per 40 hour week. After stoppages. And the union bloke demanded I join. 3 week summer hol job.
(I didn't.) 1971. I was 16.

Knowing it's a bank holiday in the UK makes us so happy to be over here. The trippers will be heading to the beaches and campsites near our place. There'll be traffic jams, bad tempers and nothing on the supermarket shelves.
Wonder if any will die this time "Tombstoning"?
Anyway sun is shining over here, for once, dog of to vet again this arvo, I have got still more washing to do.
