...that as I am going to see the spine consultant on Monday I have been doing some research so I might have a more searching and intelligent conversation with him for my £300 30 minutes of his time. :rolleyes:
It has been a shock to find that a C5 injury (which is the symptom I am experiencing with "numb hands") can result in quadriplegia. :eek:
Now I think it is unlikely, because I did the damage back in 2017, but the recent sudden decline since I did all that heavy work in 2021 is very worrying. :oops:

...that I managed to get some silver grey Mapei grout locally. As the blokey said, "I think you ought to buy a lottery ticket!" as he never normally has them in stock.
On my way home I caught a green light at the end of a road where I NEVER EVER have caught one before.
Then did the same at another!
So I popped into the local shop and boughted 2 Euromillions lucky dips for Tuesday.;)
After all it's my buff day on Monday.:):):)

If he can keep you out of a wheelchair it is money well spent! For 13 years I used to design controllers for the disabled and then I recently ended up in a wheelchair as you know. It is horrible. I truly hope he can do something for you.

I had a tooth that was filled so much it one day just went "crack" and split in half and the filling fell straight out. The tooth was dead as a doornail so there was no chance of any infection.
They extracted the remains a week or so later. :)
 
Baked beans int microwave and chips in me air fryer for tea tonite.

When doing me chips eye normally pull the tray oot at half time to shake them about. Dint do it this time. Yer just losing heat which issa waste. Cooked ok. All eatid. Baff then bed. Alarms on. Eye is safe now.
 
That Husqvarna sewing machine problem is annoying me.
The plug socket is a peculiar shape. It has 4 pins. No one in the UK, i.e. no Husqvarna dealer, can help us, all they can helpfully come up with is "look on eBay". :rolleyes:
I have located one company who will sell us a cable with the correct weirdly shaped plug, minus the foot controller but they are selling in euros. :(
Not the end of the world.
Once got, any generic foot controller would do and all I'd have to do is to wire the 2 wire lead into the controller. But it is a bit of a pain especially as the only manual I have been able to download is in Dutch! Others in English are available but seemingly only from the US at astronomical money.
But it has to be said that the machine is very good and the modern equivalent costs nearly £2k.:eek:
W will be very chuffed if I can get it going for her.;)
Funny how ahe seems to have her projects going full speed ahead all the time whereas I have yet to start one depsite being retired 7 years.
Guess I am just lazy!:rolleyes::(
 
....well at least I got some grouting done.
Tis always a bit weird when done with coloured grout, it behaves weird and can suddenly seem to get more liquid for no reason although going off fast as heck once in the joints. But it's OK. The mitred corners are looking quite cool!:cool::cool::cool:
Even W says so!:):):)
I think I'll do as it says for doing in warm conditions and wet the joints before doing next time.
