So here we go:

I had in fact had the panel off before but in the dark with a burning sun on your back it was not easy to see the heads of the fittings. Once found and having eventually given up on getting the cross headed screws out, even with an impact driver, I could see that they also had hex heads so they did come off that way.:rolleyes:

I always used to say that my coffee cup was one of my most important tools which is why I spend a lot of time mugging up on a job before starting it. But what fooled me on this one was that I couldn't even see the bit that needed to be swopped over or even the wires leading to it.
I knew I didn't want to do it the official way as that is a total bore but then doing it the unofficial way is never going to be easier, just maybe quicker and more convenient. Which is exactly what it was!
Which is why I came in a coupa times for a look and a moan one ere and elsewhere!

Home. Done some shopping.packed motor. Fish/chips for tea. Send some co-ordinates for a meeting place tommorow.
Remind the mrs I’m away for the weekend.
Then remind her I’m off work next week

Need to get up early to walk an extra dog we are looking after as dog park all booked up

be well everyone & enjoy the extra day off
