Went oot for a picnic doon the bonnie banks nice wee day doing nowt, a van pulls up behind us
& a nice Jewish family started to pile out the van they werent that old but had 7 kids & she was
preggers :eek: are they not allowed tellys or hobbies o_O plus they wanted to see the dogs as they
wernt allowed them. Very nice people though all dressed the same & with the same wigs.

Tis a shame as you'll never see a clearer exposition of a triple expansion system than that. :):):)
One time we were on it, down on the sarf coast, we got extra time on it cos they had to weld up summat on one of the paddles. Larverly old boat, the other fecker which is still steam but not with pistons is a lot more borin. can't remember its name off hand. ;)

Well tonite...
We had Escalope de veau, or veal escalope .....
I opened a magnum of wine cos so often the peeps we buy wine off give us one as well as a hefty discount.
But being two bots in one we tend to leave them until, well,... we shouldn't.
So I decanted it into the big decanter I got when I retired, pressy from my faculty who knew me too well!;)
2010 but still lovely, so W has gone to bed and I am just finishing off the last two glasses!!
Yes I know I said we'd rebottle half but....What the feck!!!:):):)

Doon the hatch :D I would say bottoms up butt then youd be getting.....
 
When a student I once worked for a Jewish company delivering electrical stuff to building sites. They were fairly hardcore but nice peeps. They asked me to take a fridge to a synagogue. When I got back the owner of the company asked me how I liked the synagogue. Bit of a weird question but I was diplomatic enuff to say it looked great. (This was in Lunnen not far off the north circular) blokey said, "that's mine that is I had it built.":rolleyes::eek:
One day delivered to the real hard core types, some conduit to a filthy house owned by the guys with the coats, leggings and ringlets. The owner told me I mustn't go with out a tip. He fished about in the oldest wooden till-type thing you had ever seen and gave me............10p.
Mad!
