Too hot to work outside on the Landy today. Much cooler in the garage, so I is in there upgrading the electrics on a 1967 bike to 1970's standards.

Hee Hee!I gets me prescription and interweb it to glasses direct. The optician wanted 900 sovs for a pair of varifocals. 700 sovs for a cheaper pair. GD did them for about 70 sovs. And they is the best pair of goggles I ever hooked over me lugs. Got a pair of reading glasses and two pairs of computer reading glasses, about 100 sovs all in. I never gets me goggles from the high street, they are a rip off. And I qualify for free eye tests n descriptions cos I is an old git
Yerp, get your free eye test then go ont internet.
But our local eye-bod is really good and much cheaper than a high st rip-off merchant. Tis the frames that cost the dosh, the lenses are the easy bit! If you like your frames and have a spare pair then you could ask them just to change the lenses to your new scrip. It'll take a while but.... Much cheaper! Wifey did this a while back.

Triumph changed to negative earth in the 1979 model year. Which started mid 1978 (model years running from summer 78 to summer 79). I'll get me anorak -----When did they change from pos to neg earth?

Guid afternoon
Up early this morning and went off for a paddle before it got to hot
Went to Castle Semple Loch and apart from the bird life had it to myself
80 mins worth of paddling (will give the gym a miss this afternoon)
Hard work getting thro the lillies
Ah clear water ahead
And rest, time for morning coffee
And loaded, just as the sun came out, ready for home

This ere she him it fing we as bin talking about. There was recently a fing int news where it would have bin helpfull. Someone crashed a car then gorrout un run away. Said runner was in a levver mini skirt, tights un heels. He, a man, should have had his pronouns on display so we knew how to correctly eye-dentify him. He's an MP. He should have had MP on display.
