My combi boiler is gradually losing pressure over a couple of months. Not a big deal as I just top up the pressure which takes a few seconds and leave it for another couple of months. But it is beginning to annoy me. Gonna have to find the leak which must be tiny and fix it. All the heating pipework was replaced a few years ago, in copper. With one push fit fitting in an awkward to get at place. Think thats where I shall start the inspection. I've got as far as putting it on my jobs list :D

Any chance of translating that into something a person over the age of 14 can unnerstand? :D

Afternoon folks:).

Well we woke to an all white landscape:) Big heavy and stick it was, has pretty much stopped now.
The snow plough has already been through and cleared the roads, so a trip to the shop.

Decided to go in Tank mode:eek:.
Def snow - Copy (2).jpg

Not really:) I let the heater warm it and then brushed it off:D.

So there is not much going outside today, stay in the house in the warm:).

I had exactly that problem about a month ago and 'solved' it just as you are doing - but it suddenly started to leak quite a bit and caused irreparable damage to another important part and that was ruined so a bigger bill came along.

The initial loss of pressure problem turned out to be the 'valves'?, two large, heavy, brass angled parts in which the 'washers/seals? had worn out. If I had called the plumber sooner I could have saved myself another larger bill . He did say something about these parts not being the easiest to get to.

The wench demands a winch? :D Sounds like a good enough excuse to get some spannering in to me. :)
A wench without a wrench wants a winch fitted. Can she be wrenched away from her other activities to pass the wrenches for the fitting?
Wonder why she wants it fitted so fast.
My Wench/Wifey wouldn't give a feck, unless it was sitting in the middle of the lounge floor, i.e unsightly and "in the way"!!!;)
