they still refuse to pay us in any sensible way, so the credit card company will be chasing it down.
Bunch of idiots. We fell about laughing at what they were "demanding" we do just to make a BACS payment. Even after being told that the missus is an ex-accountant and knows exactly what is necessary!
They won't send a cheque cos they are "paperless", they won't credit the credit card as "it's over £250", "no I won't pass you on to my supervisor as she will only tell you the same thing."

Not a good recommendation for this company then? Have you looked into their feedback on things like Trustpilot - others are available :rolleyes:?
 
Afternoon folks:).

Well I did a short range weather forecast when I got up, looking out the window this morning and uuuggghhhh awful, So I looked at the long range forecast and as I couldn't see the hills in the distance its not looking any better:eek:;).

Not been around last couple of days but have been watching you lot;).
Going to face time Mum & Dad tonight as Bruv just admitted to hospital which means I will probably be back in the UK by the end of the week, been checking what hoops I will need to jump through & flights:(.

Anyway on a lighter note, just made the potato salad and we is having a nice bit of pork with salad and potato salad today, sometimes the winter diet is heavy so its nice to have a tasty cold summery meal:).

@Stanleysteamer Stop wasting time leave it to the CC mob and get on with life, Leave negative feedback, done. why introduce stress in your life when you dont need too:).

@kevstar Hope you are somewhat more comfy now:) i have had a few back issues and have learnt to be carefull with my back mostly. I have never had to take time off but have often put myself on light duty;). Have found laying on back and bringing knees up as far as possible, also knell on all fours and arch back as far up and down helps. (becarefull whose around:eek:). Its a real PITA that it can be put out so easy through no obvious effort;).

Feel for you mate:D.

My back fixing wimmins had me lie on me front and while relaxing me back (nearly impossible to do) I had to push meself up with me elbows. Apparently that was to squish the disc back into place. o_O

Re Oakfeckupland, as I have been here before I know you have to give the scrotes all reasonable opportunity to do the biz. Otherwise you can be accused of not doing so.
But that ship sailed today so the form is filled in, the printing done of all letters, pics and emails, and the package will be going off to John Lewis tomoz.;)
Never tried using a CC company before, have always gone via small claims.
So it'll be interesting to see how it pans out.
I reckon it's got a 50:50 chance. Befoe we have to go SC.
But we don't care, we have a new box and can afford to be short £250 for a while.;)
I pity anyone else not in our situation that they owe either goods or money to.:(:(:(

There's anti fraud time outs on credit card refunds. The card issuer may be blocking it. When this happens shops have to be careful they're refunding the correct person anorl. It's against the rules for you to gain credit on a credit card, then be refunded in cash via another way. Cheque's are old and out of date. Large companies don't use them as they're too easily used to steal money.
