This one's kendal oak wivva wax finnish. So does that mean it's pure wood wiv only wax polish after? Looks like it's finished more than that.
Most furniture advertised as solid wood, is "engineered" - smaller sections glued into bigger lumps and made into furniture. So it is solid, but not monolithic. Wax finish will be sprayed on prolly by a machine/robot. Timber ain't wot it used to be when quality and durability mattered.

Near the top left of their web site is says 'free delivery and returns' - click on that.
Not on this page I just called up. First page you come to on the website. https://www.oakfurnitureland.co.uk/

Scroll down to 'damaged/faulty items' and there's a 'click ere' link in the text which takes you to another page.
then click on 'i have received damaged item' and fill out the box to message them.

Nothing to scroll down, so I searched "damaged/faulty items"
and got this

Which doesn't make any sense does it?
So I have no idea how you managed to get what you did, which would indeed have helped!:(:(:( Maybe it is because the website may have changed in the very last few days as it seems to now be full of Christmas links.
.
Anyway, the letter arrived today and I rang them.
Long wait but then things started to happen, they gave me an email, address to send the pictures to.
We will see!!
But thanks ever so for your continued interest. As I said, can't believe the stuff you found. It made me dig deeper throught the terms and conditions and buried deep in there was an email address I could contact.

@Stanleysteamer
I have a complete suite of solid oak bedroom furniture from the same place, bought over several "splurges".
The quality has been excellent and I found them to be very responsive to any queries along the way.
I do hope you can get your issue resolved.
Cheers mate. it'll come right in the end, I'm sure.
I do not know if our favourite oak place still exists, or if this lot took it over.
But, like you our entire master bedroom, i.e. king-size bed, two bedside chests, and two further big chest of drawers all came from the same place, all oak (wardrobes are built in.) They are in solid oak and we love them, the blanket/linen box was going to be the last item. We have searched at auctions etc for a good one and buying one online was a last resort. We put the order in in May, I think!.
We'll get there!! but thanks for the positive thought!:):)

Eye know nuffink about breading dogs but if that were a log book wiv the vin number blocked oot it would ring alarm bells. Is there a possibility the paperwork dun't match the dog the current over says she breads from? Selling dogs wiv false paperwork is quite popular int criminal world. Seen it ont telly. Multiplies the sale price.

They have both mum & dad so I will see them both plus ive got a dog chip reader both can be checked
against the paper work. I will be calling another breeder(the one we got our dog from) he will know them
as they are also into show dogs and are in Wales too. Perhaps they dont want anyone to copy the docs
& do the same as you've said but I will be asking the question tomorrow. ;)
