A crap nites sleep, couldn't get comfortable (the neck & shoulders) :(
But still here, and it is another lovely day. :) Doubtless the 3 days I am away next week it will rain solidly every day. :(
Sent my little Crie-de-Coeur off to the GP's office, maybe, they will have some advice/help to offer.
Have a lovely day folks! :D

Er come vrum upcountry zo er be yoosful injecshun uv noo blud into us local breeding an wun bitch puppy be snapped up by major trainer & trialler (A panel judge) zo us be ferry complimented.
6? wow! We have three and once had 4, and that was quite enough.
Having done a little breeding we do understand about the need to keep bloodlines going and strong and healthy. In the past we have had to search far and wide to find dogs with a decent and safe pedigree.
So good on you, and congrats on having such hot little doggies!:):):):)

Truing a bicycle wheel is a Zen fing I fink. Started oft wif a banana, an got it down a nickle wiggle. Shoulda stopped there, I only wants.to flog it. Rapidly went back to banana. Frustrated, but determined. Gonna loosen it all off an start over, take a look at you tube for tips.

Lovely day ere, just a little wuk this morning an then the afternoon oft. Though a.mate found an axe in an old shed he wants me to bring up to a usable standard, an he has a mower blade he want sharpening...

Have a lovely day peeps
When doing the truing, do you ping each spoke until it makes exactly the same noise? I do this with the wire wheels on my kit car.
This may not be the final solution but I find it gives you a good starting point. Maybe if you have perfect pitch it helps!! Dunno!;);););)

Truing by pitch don't half make your thumb hurt after a while. :)
I use a dial-gauge for the lateral truing and the ParkTool tension meter to make sure the spokes are just right and not too-tight. Each rim has a max Kgf value for spoke tension before it starts to crack and the nipples pull through.
It is a bit of an art as well as a science; being methodical is the (spoke) key to success. :)

Thumb?
I use a harder implement!;);)
And yes to the dial gauge with a proper mount.
I think there was a bit of a demo on "Wheeler dealers" of how to do it, for a car.
But never done it for a bike, though i know stuff is a lot more fragile on them. ;)

I am seriously thinking about buying an old Ford Capri to restore.
I have done a couple years ago and they are easy to do.
Any ideas how i can get my wife to agree to another car on the drive?
And a rusted heap of a car at that , no not my P38s the Capri :D
Move house to one with more outside space. :D

Normally a car show & a burger brings a good woman round.
Then show her the sunshade with your names in it.
