I like the idea of "lunch /supper"Morning All...
@Stanleysteamer , the quarantine should cause no problem at all except I was due to have lunch/supper with a lovely girl called Emma next week [she really is quite lovely...]. The quarantine may put kibosh on this. Au grace de covid neither of us have 'dated' for a long time. I'm thinking we'll run the gauntlet and go to a remote pub in the Landy, dine outside...then apply liberal coating of v8250 charm/humour & discuss latest price of swivel joints, 0.20mm tappet adjustments and pro's & cons of Dixon Bates. All this whilst she falls asleep waiting for the bill to be paid....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I once met a lovely girl in an all night supermarket at about 00:30 and she invited me back for "breakfast". As she was on a motorbike and didn't have a spare helmet, and lived some way away and it was in central Lunnen where the cops are about etc etc. I turned it down. Didn't even ask for her number.
I was drunk at the time. And a tw@t!

My God @kevstar such a sensible post with no jokes or other silliness.Sounds as if they just want your membership funds an dont really care about you.
It would do you the world of good to get a couple of sessions and advice from a
proper sports physio, first consultation is around 50 quid & a bit cheaper for the next one.
They will advise you on your training/exercising and can do you a proper workout programme
which suits you.

Believe the battery 1s go through batteries quick, you can get dual/ gas powered too now for when standalone.
We have a good cool box 1 in ours always plugged in for when we pick up fresh stuff. or for when we have a long trip and want a cold sandwich with butter thats not run out the side of the packet
Never leave home without it
Great thing worth the money if you have the use.J

Have to admit I tend to only put them on when I have to wear wellies or work boots. Luckily my plates don't pong!I haven't worn socks except when going out since March last year. It is very nice

Can't he get you one of those Rotay watches with the little model in the box? Only about £500 I think
Some on ebay cheaper than 400 quid but they look a bit plane to me.

Proof of a shared interest!
Wifey and I had a load of dates at things like car shows, on steam engines, even a steam powered paddle steamer, when we first met.
She also took a very active part in the running of my Kit car club and owned 2 herself.
But I don't get a lot of quilting done!
Nothing like a girl with nice twin hooters though!
