Aha! So that is why when your Mrs opens her mouth a light in it comes on! Sometimes!
Now we know.!;););)

She is tasty though!!!:):):)

1 1/16" socket, ideal for Disco wheel nuts even copes with the ones that are swollen due to rust under the stainless cover.
Doubt I'll find one over here in Frogland!;)

Only worth 3k at most tis beyond economical repair unless I fix it but I aint got the time to do that.
Depends how much of a decent repair he wants. Quick hammer out and a new light, off he goes. How is the wing attached? Is it not a bolt on jobbie? Apart from the scratch on the rear bumper thingy, I can't see anything worse than that.
But you are on the spot and will be able to see more..
He must have kicked his own ass around somewhat last night!

27mm socket should be easier to find with these metric surrender monkeys :p
I already has one of those, plus the stupid thing that comes with the wheel change kit!
Both rear paniers and the back door pockets are full of tools and spares. Both 3/8" drive and half inch. Even have a torque wrench with me. Even carry two hydraulic jacks one from the Disco and a normal small roll along one.
I work on the basis that if you carry an umbrella it won't rain.;)

Oh aye she has a smile that would put you on yer knee's..;)
I dont have a socket that size or id wing it over to you, just metric ones that are a bit wiggly
with the cover off the nut.

It's OK, as I mentioned I absolutely have no need of one!
Don't you have imperial stuff what with the Marlin etc? Or do you only have smaller ones?
Must admit it is a bit big for most usual stuff on an older imperial A/F car.

Im sure his misses done that for him,if I was doing the repair it would have to be a good repair not a bodge up. Not sure if its a bolt on panel it wont be that easy lol ive no time to do a quarter panel
anyhoo I had a bit of the rear light stuck to the back of the D1 :D

If it were me I'd take the panel off bang it back into sufficient shape to be able to take a new light shove that in then put the whole thing back together so it is road legal, then worry about getting a new panel and spraying it with rattle cans when I had the time. Mind you I do have panel beating kit, sold to me by that guy who used to run a garage from the back of next door to me.
If insurance wasn't involved I know that I could get it fixed for about £200 plus the cost of the panel back in East Dorset. i have an ex-student who does spraying at your place, he did a whole new bumper for a friend of ours for £100. for a Golf. I got the bumper for her off ebay and took the old one off, this mate sprayed it then I put it on. Good as new. He'd do the scratch on the bumper at the same time for no more money.
As you know only too well, it's who you know.
