Weather just gone a mite cloudy after being well hot.
Took the dogs, well two of them, to the vet for their jabs.
Discussed the procedure for taking them to France.
up to 10 days before leaving we have to take them in so they can check their chips and that's about it. BUT the vet then has to sit and do 1 1/2 hours paperwork, so we can then have it to travel. For which we'll be charged £250 odd.:eek:
He says vets hate doing it so much that quite a lot have started refusing to do it. I did point out they got paid for it, but he said he'd rather do a scan or something which would only take 1/2 an hour and for which he'd get paid twice as much!
Anyway, we'll have the pleasure of that next week.
Discovered as of 1/1/22 to visit any EU country we will all need visas. Even for less than 90 days.
So all good fun and a gravy train for some peeps!
Searched for medical top up insurance, found Axa do various ones, all cheaper than the old company who are refusing to do it at the mo. So that's another €304 for both of us. And they will cover us next year, which will be good as you need to prove you have it for next year's visa.
Oh the sun's just come out, whoopee!
At least I/we slept better last night.

My brand new camera body for my Canon EOS 350D works an absolute treat. there was a price tag on the box for £59 so deffo made a profit there! Bizarrely cannot find the spare lens I thought I had. Might've sold it as it wasn't really needed.:rolleyes:
Anyway, they are out there as the one I'm on about came form the bay anyway! Might get a wide angle as haven't got one.;)
Have a great day zoners!
:):):):):):):)
