I've been into Bournemuff to talk to a guy who I used to trust to do work on my Landies, but went off a few years ago, started telling a mate of mine off whenever he brought his landy to him. but recently I think he has got a lot happier.
Anyway, had a long catch up and yes he will do the "get the gearbox out and tighten up the bolts, get rid of the leak" job, that I need doing, but the problem is he has a waiting list of peeps' jobs to do and can't get to it for three weeks. Just as we are looking to get our tickets and feck off to France, now it is open again.
So I've asked him to get in touch in case one of his annoying customers cancels. Meanwhile we are just planning our exit! So begins the assault on the French paperwork sh!t.
