I have (I hope) fixed the guttering-leaks on the side of the house (1 opened joint and one gap between two discrete sections).
I also bought all the guttering elements for the mini-barn (£130), and I will try and get that done as soon as the weather permits.
Grandkids 15:15 till 17:45 and then some poor sod has to drive them all across town to their house....I wonder who will get that job in the rush-hour?
On a more positive note..... I reckon a few more hours of actual work will have the mini-barn finished and we can re-occupy the space.

Well its been a bit overcast today, which makes it great for working outside
M took the fender and got some wood for her little project.
I had cause to get the Dremel out and use the newly purchased " speed clik" system, Used it with me flexi Drive & I must say I was very impressed with the little cutting discs, need to find some more discs as I reckon I will be getting it out a lot more often.
Only 1 more day working then I can have 2 half days. Our local restaurant is opening this weekend so we are off down for Saturday Lunch. We support it as much as possible as its local and we don't want to lose it, well that's our excuse

You will have a lovely usable all year round space now
Great workMy parents had a conservatory that they loved to sit in that faced the garden but it got to hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. so they got rid and built an extension on the Kitchen part and now with full wall glass door and a roof light they now get the same views but all year round use
As far as rush hr why not leave it 1hr and do the journey in half the time
? I hate rush hr. We never had 1 here but we have noticed over the last few years that we need to avoid any early appointments in the big boy town, as we now seem to have 1 and the amount of cars on the road has increased a huge amount, I can only say its a good sign for the country and the peeps, its not something I enjoy partaking of these days so avoid it as much as possible.J

No meeting, just just want/require me back in the office
They spent £15mill on s new office and are already building a new, bigger one.. they want bums on seats to make it look worthwhile.. and for the 'look at my busy bees' ego trip

How long do you need to stay safe for could you not get the Hospital to give you some letter to help with the employer

I'd meet your doctor and ask his 'advice' on the situation. You can't lose anything. At this stage you would have to ask for a quick appointment though.
Hope it all goes well, and give him our good wishes, he will have some good and bad days but it will be worth it

...that I am feeling "picked upon".
It hasn't rained all day.
I go to BBQ my dinner and it immediately starts raining.
