A sunny morning once again but yesterday's afternoon showers are forecast for today as well, I just wish the showers had more volume to them - for the sake of my garden not me.

Bright & Sunny here (ATM).
Sorry I'm late, been gassing on the blower to mate from oop-north.
Today I shall begin fixing the new window-sill/cills down to the brickwork.
More trike/bike Lathe or Welding stuff is desperately needed for some R & R. Totally bored with Building/Landscaping DIY.

Have a sudden attack of "overseas bad leg"Mornings
Stuff I planned to do this weekend has changed.
Why do others make arrangements for me to travel to them when they know my free time is limited.
They don’t speak/text for months and expect me to be nice....

The ones you fasten round your knees I find a pain behind the knees, the pads that slip into your work pants I find are never exactly where you want them.
so I move a kneeler around with me.

Gardener came yesterday, did 2 hours then fooked off as it began to rain hard, don't blame him. (He's a neighbour who currently has little work and I am just too pleased to not be doing the heavy lifting.) So he'll be back Thursday.
Wifey currently reading out all the results of the auction, I didn't get the lot of fob watches, half of them working and on at least silver, but i did get another mixed lot of wristwatches, some of which are very modern chunky and outlandish, many of those were working too.
But Wifey got all the jewellery she bid on, she is much better at this than me. So that's her birthday and middle dottir's Xmas pressy sorted out!
Still waiting to see if we get the furniture etc.

Its a another great day and wam too.
Just back from looking at the new toy He is going to deliver it "free" so that saves us hooking up the trailer and driving 3hrs there and back.
Have to arrange the cash (cos cash is king still here) he will drop it off on Friday.
Comes with 3 buckets and we got a bit of a deal on the fence post auger attachment.
2017 with 700hrs on it
On the way back spotted BGs finest crop sprayer

Have you ever seen a grown man screaming and swearing at a chair like this, well you missed a funny sight
So we have our chair sat on the patio during the winter and in the summer it goes out under the cherry tree.
The warning is this Do not put you bare skin arm on the glass in the middle when sitting in it when its been out in the sun. It dont half smart I can tell you. its getting moved to under the tree now.

I work in shorts most of the time in Frogland cos it's so fecking hot!I tend to wear trousers, you must be hard core to work in just your pants
But did once lay a carpet in my knickers, south facing, bay window bedroom in the summer. Windows would only open at the top and I was sweltering.

This is why we have to be careful, as i am sure you do, with pool furniture. Even teak can get feckin hot!

Yes the wooden furniture has cushions so not so bad, plus they are usually under a brolly cos the sun is so hot. Must look at getting a new brolly we are trying to get 1 of the really big ones used in pub gardens.
We have some of that misting hose and nozzles hanging around the edge and that helps alot
