Apart from owt else Her Mag loves her Series and Fenders, but gets drivved around in either a Disco or a Rangie, and spparently getts peed orft cos she ain't allowed to drive!!
She's also been photographed driving a Freelander 2 anorl. The gaydon motor museum has her ole tratter with 444 as part of the plate.

I think it would be easier to stick to biscuits and cake rather than making cucumber sandwiches as there int much time left. They both British inventions so it's allowd.

But, but, but Hippster, I has been making proper cucumber sarnies all night and they are nearly ready as the've started to curl at the edges where I surgically removed the crusts to go wiv the event :cool:
So before youfinks it, I garantea ther won't be any upper crusts there today as me oinkers ad em :p:p

Charles see's the world a bit different to most peeps. He's concerned about the environment and damage we're doing to it. He was talking about it long before the tree huggers. In recent years yer become a style icon if yer concerned about the planet. Not really bothered meself who takes over but I would like to keep the royals. If Charles took over and things went wrong I would suspect William would take a more supporting role to help out.

As it happens, the one thing I do like about Charles is his concern for the environment, and in particular for farming, and it's role in the environment.
And I like the fact that, due to his wealth and position, he can speak his mind, unlike elected politicians. And sadly, that will not continue if he becomes King.

Incidentally, I was concerned about the environment before the tree huggers as well. I was in Friends of the Earth when I was at school in the 70s.

Heh, our lass gets peeed off when she has to drive ... absolutely hates it and only drives when trains or buses don't go where she's going to.

She drove my old series once and on a dead straight road couldn't keep it straight! (She learnt to drive in a brand new Focus) She hasn't driven any other Landrovers since, and says she won't unless it's an emergency .. ;)

Quite the opposite here. NB is always saying how bored she gets as a passenger, and why don't I pull over and let her drive.

And she insists on driving her landrover, even when it adds hours to the day due to it's slow speed, and costs twice as much in fuel as a car!

Not certain, but I seem to remember reading she was a driver when she was on war service.
Her Mag was officially a Driver/Mechanic with the Her Dad's Corps of Transport, and a zillion years ago she popped out to say hello to a couple of us who had parked our Series I and a IIA on the side of the road for a brew up, when she turned up in a SIII, and stopped for a chat ... about Landies!
Courser, being peasants, we hasd no idea who that dear little middle-aged, knowledgable lady was until someone in a suit approached and asked if everything was OK and that Her Magesty sends her thanks and regards for the chat, alondg with her apologies for not accepting a brew!
When we got further along the road we saw a sign for 'Windsor', and even then we didn't really twig!

Sorry I'm late.... have I missed anything ?
This was the early morning view.
Lots of pony club moms & stuck up winging kids...

There's a story about the queen going for a walk in the grounds of Balmoral. She had a member of security walking with her. Met someone along the way and stopped for a brief chat. Gave them directions. They then asked if she'd met the queen. She said no but he has. Meaning the security man. She then continued on her walk.

Sorry missed the wedding....

As for royalty. Mrs has met Phillip a few times as she drives horse carriages like him. Pleasant chap when he was doing his hobby.

Oh has any one got any sandwiches spare I'm hungry
