It would be nice to chat with the queen for an afternoon at me castle. The royal eye would have most liked to invite round would have been phil. Battered for gaffs over the years but such an interesting person who's been involved with a lot of stuff over the years.

Yep I’m out on the push bike, only cus the place I go is surrounded by bus lanes & it’s easier by peddles.
Out the 1 shop into another.... cakes shop...
Glad I have some room in the rucksack.

    Apple turn over
2 x lemon curd short bread
    2 peppered steaks pasties
That’s why I have to pedal to give a reason for cakes. Also the Mrs wanted a peddle out, gave her my town bike while I took my trusty/rusty mountain bike with bad brakes
Nearly stopped at the local weekend pub for a drink but no empty tables

As you can tell, DIY has ground to a halt!
Why is it when i am not trying particularly to be careful I don't make mistakes or have mishaps, but when i am being extra careful things go wrong?:mad::mad::mad::mad:
Was shaping the edge of me bit o plasterboard that's going in me ole to ensure the finishing plaster has a good surface to cling to and I will be able to sand it to an invisible join when, ping, a bit of me plasterboard breks nearly off, just held by the backing paper!
So had to glue it back together and is currently clamped waiting for the gunk to go off.

The lr marketing dept must be happy today. The Philander is center stage. Bit like when baby george was picked up from hospital in a big Freelander.

Some more clearing up done and I have made a short steel pole assembly to bolt onto the gable end of the mini- barn to take Daffyd and the weather-vane. :)
There is just such a lot to do before we can use the space inside the building again. :(
