Most of the time, if the weather is dry, I'll do a full load of washing and then take out the light stuff and put them on the solar drying device, and then use the tumble dryer to dry the thicker towels etc.

The machine has a sensor in it so it can tell when there's no more moisture coming out of the machine so assumes the clothes are dry and turns itself off. :)

Aha, but is your machine on hot feed or cold?
In Frogland both machine have either hot feed or both. and for the dishwasher, where the heater isn't working, it makes no difference. mind we do have to run the watter first, and heat it of course, but then we have solar, but then we have the pump for that and the computer, oh yes and each time you run a tap you get charge sewage.
It's a complex fecking business ain't it?!:):):):eek::eek::eek::eek:

But your hair will fall out after you have read the thing for the tumble drier!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Every house in France has the equivalent of Economy seven without even needing a speshul meter. It's a good fing.

Yep, take out warm and hang em up straight away and they'll be fine.
Peeps used to laugh at me cos every morning, when i was working, i'd iron my shirt then put it straight on, to avoid creases.
So nice to not have to do this, nor put a tie on every day!

I have some "upgrades" on their way from other Chinese suppliers (fingers crossed).
A Machifit cuniform toolpost and a set of carbide cutters/holders to go with.
I seem to have about 5-thou runout in the chuck jaws, and I don't know if that is good/bad/indifferent really. I know a 4-jaw independent chuck can be adjusted to remove all but spindle run-out and a 3-jaw can be given a gentle "tap".
I suppose I should take the chuck off and run a DTI gauge on the inside of the MT3 bore to see what element of "off" is where?
All new to me this turning malarkey. One of my mates said "what do you need one for?" and TBH I have no answer, I just wanted one. **Boy's-Toy's** is my only excuse/answer. ;)

I know feck all about all this but 5 thou seems a hell of a lot. Might as well have a wood turning lathe.

Yes I would clock the bore in the MT3 for a better idea of what is going on. 5 thou is rather large but again it depends on the application. Learn to use a 4 jaw to over come the deficiency but if the issue is in the spindle, that is entirely different.
Not all Chinese chucks are the same. HMB are quite good I hear and of course Soba from India are also held in reasonable regard.
You can true up the three jaw but if you get it within a couple of thou it will be good enough for general turning.
