Whatever it is yes, you do need a ton. And if you are not that way inclined naturally, you have to learn it or learn to grit your teeth and smile!

When I started in 1981 it was easier, you could just tell kids to shut up and get on with it. The cane was still around, not that I ever knew of it being used in my place, only waved around on a Friday affo. Kids argued back a lot less and if you were doing your job properly there was no question of it being your fault if they didn't learn.
Reverse all this and you have today's situation.
I wouldn't go into it now!

I love to share my knowledge / (limited) skills, some stuff dunt come from books after all. But I'm not too patient either, can't fix lazy thinkin / idle..

Went up to the the flat conversion making redheart worktops guess what im putting in my house
first coat of oil on....

He's just not as technically minded as I had hoped and I'm having to tell him the same thing multiple times.
It'll be fine, I still leave in 33 working days regardless

No its staying rough & the splits are filled with epoxy that's what they wanted, personally I would have
tinted the epoxy to match the wood but hey ho

Could be fun! When you tell him something the first time, intone the word "one" like a bell ring, the second time, intone "two", and so on. he may eventually get the picture.
Or alternatively write it on a bit of paper and just hold it up each time you need to say it!
