Evening all...
We spent all day watching the attempted movement of the whales from Garelochead, they got to Rhu
which we call the narrows as the shores tapper in from both sides of the loch. (5mph speed limit for all craft)
Roughly 6 miles then the whales done a u turn & are now back at the foot of the loch.
The mod have a big event on next week so they want to move them on as the sonars off the ships ect
may affect them.
They won't want to go as there are storms due and the loch is nice and sheltered ...

Eye fink its one of them situations where yer need to do the best yer can. Solve the weaknesses and hope for the best. Its surprising how many don't have an alarm. Surprising how many alarms dunt work. We had a number of burglaries near me a while ago. Several walked straight down the drive. Over a medium size fence. Theirs or neighbours. Then straight in the back door as it was unlocked. Peeps were sleeping upstairs. Houses back onto houses only in the houses affected.
Peeps often critisise the police but leaving doors unlocked like that is just asking for trouble. Think its 1 in 50 houses burgled or attempted each year. Theres a police neighbourhood and house safe thing this month.

I know the noob brought his own mug but I'm not sure if he left it not.... I'll certainly check at the end of today.They already know that I'm not willing to stay on any longer than the required notice period and they'd be foolish to even ask.

I saw a couple of chaps looking around the rear of my property. About a week later the hinges were cut off my garage door. Imagine their surprise when they still couldn't get in because the doors are fully secured in multiple places internally
The police were not interested in a description of the people as they couldn't prove they were involved

Fitting some cameras weekend.
Also if you fit a baby monitor in the garage it would activate by any noise. This allows you time to go & see if they want to “bowl the ball” as you have the bat.

I became wet & bedraggled as I wrested the paper from the newsvendor.
I have Gym later, I hope the weather dries up a bit.
Herself wanted to know what was in that BIG BOX (Milwaukee brushless 5AH twin-pack), and got all arsey when I wouldn't tell.
Apparently "its a surprise" isn't a good answer. I thought it only fair to treat myself as she is getting some diamond & sapphire ear studs for the 45th anniversary.

They arent stupid im sure they will go when they are ready.

Yes exactly, they put poles in the water & bang on them to create noise to keep them moving.
The Navel base had some earie alarm going off as sounded like whales not a noise apart from
that made all my hairs stand up. (apart from me puubs)lol
