Good luck with the job.

Didn’t Phill take the course under some program he seems to enjoy his job @Hicap phill , He gets about a bit (in a good way)
Oh and seems plenty of time for snacks:D

no I paid for the course myself. You have to take some dvla computer tests then have a few lessons.
Thing is just to get a lesson you need to apply for licence & have medicals even before you sit in a seat. This takes up to 5 weeks.
If you have van//. 7.5t licence this helps in looking for job

Eye always liked the centaur. Neerly as good assa Freelander oft road. It beer shame they din't sell many. Fort the utility companies would like em but they wurnt a massive hit. Uk militree wurnt interested much. It was sed if yer cant sell it ter yer own militree then uvva countree's militree wunt buy anorl. So there wurnt many centaurs built. Tis still valuabul prototype Freelander histree.

Gottid six hook n ride inges fer me doors. Eye want the bolt ter go frew the inge, flowa bud and frame. So its boltid to the frame fer strenf. Flowa bud be 18mm. Frayme 45. Yer gorra nut, washer un inge anorl. Had ter pik next size up fromtp 83 un 76mm.
And I suppose the bolt diameter is set by the size of the hinge hole.
Wonder what everyone else does? And you don't want cylinders of metal taking up the extra unthreaded space. Could you maybe put another piece of wood the other side of the post? Or as, you said before, you'd have to cut the thread longer which in stainless is not something I'd want to be doing.
Once you've got it all sorted are you gonna put pix up?
Best of luck with it all.

Ah well... in all my IT jobs I have always tried to avoid writing any policies where possible and when I was left with no choice I actually got the ISO accreditation people to write it for me. :D
Mainly they just consist of stuff like passwords, backups, data access control, area access control, device security and that sort of thing.
I'm glad I'm giving it all up :)
I was very tempted to say, can't you find a generic one on line then modify it for your particular case?
So I'll have a look.
Well the answer is "Yes!"

So even if the company has to pay for it, they are there.
Just sayin, not that I know much about it!;););)

Morning All :D
A bit dull & dismal out there today :(
There's plenty to do here though, besides that painting. :)
Yesterday I took delivery of 10 x 13ft reclaimed scaffold-boards. These are destined to be the facing surface of my re-modeled conservatory wall.
We are going to clean them up a bit and then falsely "weather" them wit a wash of muriatic acid (or similar) to make them go silver-grey.
I am already working out the steps I will need to take to remove the double-glazed pitched roof and replace it with a mansard style wooden roof with full insulation and a skylight and an EPDM outer skin.
I need to replace the 2 plastic/aluminium corner posts of the conservatory with some 3 x 3 oak timbers. I think it will be a fun project. :D
Have a great day everyone. :D

Nope, they seem to like them. Our tree-rats plant the darn things all over the garden (hide them for later) and we get Oak-trees popping up everywhere.:D

The auld rule of 9 it is then. :D Id let him struggle with the tyre for a while then send him to make
a cuppa then whip the tyre off haha ;):D
Love it!:D
Tis the judging whether the gap is right or not he finds difficult. Especially when he tightens the nut down and finds that the gap has widened a bit!
We all know this but he is still learning!:):)

About this IT Policy I have to write, got any pointers ?

And what is BS that I can leave out or put in an Appendixixix ?
Having checked on what I said about an IT policy with wifey who, without wishing to blow her trumpet for her, used to be one of the best international IT auditors around as a well as a compliance officer, having worked for the big four banks, etc ,etc. She said exactly what I thought she'd say.
"Get hold of a generic one and alter it to suit your own environment."
So for once I got it right.
So best of luck with it all!
