Two more days, then a week oft.
Recent posts might suggest it's overdue.

Tratter is still happy, though a new springlyness arrangement has arrived in the post to replace the, frankly pointless, ballpoint pen spring affair currently in place on the front brakes.

Has been a strange, long, quick at times, year. Odd. Decidedly odd, yes.
Lots of rest, long walks, good grub, booze incoming.
Not necessarily in that order.

Night pips.

Mornin all.
Bright and clear and going to be very hot this affo before a rainy week to come.:(
Think that's gonna be the end of using the pool this season:(
Last lot of dinner guests tomorrow, then we can sit back and wait for them to invite us round! Yuum, yum! Giving them sausage casserole from Jamie Oliver, not what we normally do! Wonder if they'll like the taste of the British Banger!!! Make a change from french dishes!
We is off to the market in a min!
Have a lovely day!
:):):):):)

Afternoon folks:)

yet another good day here, New residence cards picked up and we are now not "long term" residence permit holders, we are now class an an "article 50"o_O

All the insurances done on the cars & trailers. ordered some stuff to be picked up on Monday so need to prepare the trailer.
I also managed to get a gas bottle (with gas;)) for my TIG, guess where i will be found at the weekend:D the deal was good. I own the bottle (50+15 quid) so no rental just refill when i need:).

Still no water been bucketing it out the pool for loos now as all 6 got used.

1 more working day for the workers before a couple of fun days you can do it guys:)

Apologies, my "Morning All" greeting didn't get posted today (was typed up, but never sent) oops!
I have had another full-on day of painting up atop the scaffold tower. :)
We are now gloss bits x 1 coat both halves of the gable-end (re-coat in 16 hours, so good to go tomorrow) and 2 coats of white masonry paint on the LH side and 1 on the right.

It has felt quite windy up there with steady 17MPH wind and gusts to 26MPH. It plays havoc with the brushes as they dry out a bit too much in the wind. :(
The next door neighbour is wearing full haz-mat gear and spraying his brickwork with something to remove the staining from his lime-mortar repointing. If its that bad he has to go full haz-chem suit and visor/breather/filter should he be providing a screen to prevent it getting on my house/cars/plants etc. I wonder?
I reckon the 3 remaining days of the tower hire will see this job done (as long as the weather stays fair).
I hope you have all had a good day. :D
