Up at the correct time, but been gassing with a mate on the blower. :)
All good here at Clarke HQ. Booked in for a haircut @11:00, so I shall be looking like a new army recruit afterwards :)
A new toy from Screw-fix should arrive today (just a small corded SDS drill, nothing too exciting), my bigger SDS drill/breaker is too heavy for non ground-level work.
Mid-range weather forecast for early next week looks promising with respect to the house-painting I have planned and must get done before the new windows arrive. :D

Unfortunately nothing ever stays the same. Except my lovely P38. She is unchangingly luvverly. ;)

Yes tis a lot closer if your going up/down the A82 im not too far away.
That reminds me I must shift the damm thing its lying at the door of the unit waiting
for me to trip over it. Now the dark nights are drawing in its only a matter of time.

Anmyways, mornin all, sunny here and set to be feckin ot again nex week.
Yesterday's dinner party went off well, we always tries new dishes with guests we know and all three were fine, anyone else ever heard of "Tahin"? We ad to get sum for the Morrocan salad. When I finally found some I felt like a prospector panning for gold who finally found a nugget!
Pollo Cacciatore (Chicken hunter's style) was brilliant cos we cooked it off in the big Le Creuset the night before, a bit then finished it off for about 3 hours the following morn at 150 in the oven. Absolutely fell of the bone! (Twas a lunchtime dinner)
Guests didn't leave till 6 so we left the clearin up.
So guess what we'll be on in a mo? Then more woodbutcherin for the shelves!
At least I will be able to use the circular saw outside.

Eye did the same before. Din't reel-eyes yer needed unda cowt ont new wud. This time eye addit int tin from before but got tins mixed tup. Shud av red the laybul.

Gloss direct ter sworn soft wud dunt cuvva it propper so eye put unda cowt ont top and it cuvvered. So am gonner do the rest wiv undacowt terday then put gloss ont afta when it dry's and pretend it dint appen ergen. After er week gloss will be dry all the way frew. The tuch dry bolluks ont tin afta 16 ours be bollux.

An whyle eye be ere... non drip gloss be drippin ont me garrig floor. It drips oft yer brush afta yer dunk it int tin. Bastids.

Wifey, who does all our woodwork paintin swears by Zinzer B-I-N, https://www.thepaintstore.com/Zinsser-s/222.htm
and have to say it is marvellous stuff, before you do undercoat and gloss. Does knotting, priming etc.
