I would just like to say

Good evening from Newtown wales.
Country lanes tommorow to Pembroke.

Camp site organised for the weekend green laning with a group of old friends.(checked to make sure it’s not flooded)
Once again I’m giving my motor to someone who wants to see the country side while I read the maps & be the tour guide

I didn't bother cleaning it.

Well, new chest freezer ordered, 1 metre wide tother measurements as you'd expect. 200 litres for 159heuros. Chuffed.
Now comes the interesting bit. It is 45 minutes away in Carcassonne. They would deliver it if it was less than 30 cms long, or they'd deliver it if it was a washing machine or a Fridge/freezer or summat. For €30.
But this they won't deliver. No reason given and no matter if you pay or not.
You have to find a suitable vehicle, drive there, they'll help you load it then.....you're on your own mate.
Lucky I have a Disco and am fit enough to be able to throw it out the back.
Blast, my sack truck is in the UK!
Twill be fun, but we'll manage.
ONLY in Froggyland!

Took an age to find a freezer and order it, then we found some of the blasted damsons goin orf so had to go through all the crates damson by damson chucking the dodgy ones out before they go off and completely negate the point of getting the freezer, which we can't pick up till Satday, if then!
Took for ever. And was weely, weely, bowin!
Anyway, once it's in place I'll be able to work out what else i need and get it sorted.
Still all the time I am doing this I have a good excuse for not going in that blasted bathroom and fighting with the concrete!
Watching box set George Gently. Seed some episodes never seen before. Great!

And I was living a few miles inland from Dawlish as I was doing my teacher training in Exeter! We also had to wait until the school bus went through too.
Those Devon lanes are summat else!

Wiltshire. Before the lanes close for the winter.
Friends are all midlands based from old off road/race club I was with. Keep the numbers low so not to spoil the day out.
I may plan a early 1 next year but most lanes would strip the paint off BoBB due to the lack of use as everyone goes to the plain for mud & water(& repair bills)
